It was a feast to the eyes to look at the eye catching paintings with pleasing hues and colors which have been mostly created on rural subjects but with noticeable variations and separate identity of their own. In this modern age when we see modern art painting that does not appeal it is a welcome change to see such work of Art.

Usha Bhatnagar has displayed her talent in presenting sensuous beauty of village folks in a very characteristic way. Her color sense, color harmonies and color balance is remarkable. In some of the paintings the expressions are very striking. Earlier she had started with water color and now concentrated an oil paintings which is certainly her forte.
